Do you like classical music? Do you like awesome solo piano repertoire? Want free food/refreshments? Come to Old Cabel Hall this Sunday, the 24th, at 8 pm to see George Schwartz play Iberia, a collection of Spanish romantic repertoire with highlights such as Liszt’s Rhapsodie Espagnole and Albeniz’s Iberia.

George Schwartz is a fourth-year Miller Arts Scholar at the University of Virginia. An award-winning pianist, he has performed in Carnegie Hall, attended the Tanglewood International Music Festival, and performed with Duquesne University Orchestra as a finalist for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Competition. He performed in Old Cabell Hall in 2015 under a UVA Miller Arts Scholars grant, and has been preparing for this performance over the past year.
