Pitch Fest is open to graduate and undergraduate student filmmakers currently working on documentary film projects. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pitch Fest will be virtual and will be held prior to the RiverRun International Film Festival (May 6–16, 2021). The winning pitches will be screened at the Festival.

Participants have 5 minutes to pitch their film ideas virtually to a panel of expert judges and may include up to 90 seconds of video footage. These projects can be in any stage of development and students receive constructive feedback and suggestions on how to improve their pitch and film. Cash prizes are awarded to the first and second place winners.

Pitch Fest is FREE to attend and FREE to enter.

DEADLINE TO ENTER: April 1, 2021
