UVA Acts is looking for UVA Student Ensemble Members for the 2019/2020 school year that will collaborate with other Ensemble Members and the Artistic Director of UVA Acts to devise, rehearse, and perform UVA Acts programming. Ensemble Members will perform as actors in 1-2 programs per year. We are looking for an energetic, joyful, and diverse ensemble committed to our mission of equitable and vibrant working and learning spaces at UVA. Performers of all ethnic & racial identities, gender identities, ages above 17, as well as performers with disabilities, are highly encouraged to submit. Ensemble Members with a variety of performance experiences are encouraged to apply. A strong commitment to equitable and inclusive collaboration processes is required.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and applicants will be interviewed and hired on a program-by-program basis as programs develop throughout the year.
